QA / Data-Quality Analyst — Part-Time, Ongoing

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA / Data-Quality Analyst to join our team on an ongoing, part-time basis. In this role you will help ensure the quality and reliability of our web application and its underlying data as we continue to ship new features. Responsibilities -Perform regular regression testing across the application to confirm that recent changes have not introduced issues. -Validate data integrity by verifying that information presented in the application aligns with the underlying source data, and flag any discrepancies. -Monitor scheduled jobs to confirm they are running as expected, and report any failures or anomalies. -Document defects clearly and log them in our issue tracker. -Research and evaluate third-party APIs for potential future integration. Required qualifications -Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to catch subtle inconsistencies (e.g., recognizing when "1,200" should read "12,000"). -Working knowledge of SQL and comfort reading JSON/CSV to verify data displayed in the UI. -Strong written communication, with the ability to produce clear, concise bug reports (steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual results, screenshots). -Dependable and self-directed, able to maintain a consistent weekly cadence once familiar with the product. Preferred qualifications -Experience in podcast or digital-audio ad-tech, for example, AdsWizz (AudioServe / AudioMax), Megaphone, Simplecast, Spreaker, or comparable hosting and monetization platforms, along with familiarity with RSS feeds and programmatic audio / SSP concepts. -Familiarity with data aggregation and web scraping (relevant to upcoming projects). -Ability to investigate database performance issues, diagnosing slow queries and identifying why a page or job is timing out. -Light scripting ability (Python or JavaScript) to automate repetitive checks. -Familiarity with Trigger.dev, Supabase, Linear To confirm you've read the entire job description, include the word Mission at the beginning of your proposal.
