Responsibilities: * Access and manage projects via Blackmagic Cloud * Download and select royalty-free music from sources like Pixabay, ensuring strong alignment with tone and edit rhythm * Review raw footage and remove unusable content * Select clips that contribute to narrative progression and visual variety * Structure sequences with clear flow and intentional pacing * Sync edits to music with attention to timing and energy shifts * Apply transitions that respect motion, geography, and continuity * Add text, logos, and overlays using Fusion, including motion tracking where appropriate * Perform color correction and grading with proper normalization and shot matching * Stabilize footage using GyroFlow and internal tools such as retiming and optical flow * Incorporate sound design elements such as ambient effects and audio fades when relevant * Export files in required formats and naming conventions, then deliver via Google Drive with comment access enabled Editing Approach Expectations: * Prioritize sequence-based storytelling over isolated shots * For events, convey scale, energy, and atmosphere * For businesses, establish context, credibility, and environment * Maintain natural pacing, balancing slower shots for scale with faster cuts for energy * Avoid excessive effects and unnecessary motion techniques * Ensure transitions feel spatially and visually coherent, especially with aerial footage Technical Requirements: * Strong understanding of color workflows, including color space transforms and scope usage * Ability to handle flat drone footage and maintain consistent, natural-looking results * Experience exporting high-resolution footage for multiple platforms without quality loss * Reliable workstation required: * i7 processor or equivalent * 32GB RAM * Minimum 8GB VRAM * At least 100GB of available storage for project files Turnaround Time: * Maximum: 18 hours per video * Target: 12 hours Incentives: * 2x pay for videos completed within 6 hours with no revisions required * 1.5x pay for videos completed within 12 hours with no revisions required Compensation: * Paid per video delivered * Consistent volume available based on your capacity and ability to maintain quality standards Additional Notes: Volume is flexible.
