PROJECT OVERVIEW The customer is seeking a detail-oriented market research consultant to help identify potential independent dealers, distributors, installers, and accessibility equipment companies that may be suitable partners for our residential elevator and vertical platform lift business. This is the first phase of a larger nationwide dealer development initiative. The initial project will focus on the State of Nevada, specifically the Las Vegas, Henderson, Reno, and Lake Tahoe markets. Successful completion may lead to ongoing work identifying and qualifying dealer opportunities throughout the United States. Preference will be given to consultants located in North America (United States, Canada, or Mexico), although qualified candidates from other regions will also be considered. ABOUT THE CUSTOMER The customer is a leading manufacturer of residential elevators, vertical platform lifts, and accessibility solutions serving homeowners, builders, architects, and accessibility professionals across North America. PHASE 1 – MARKET RESEARCH & LONG LIST DEVELOPMENT The consultant will conduct independent online research and prepare a comprehensive database of potential dealer candidates. Target companies may include: • Residential elevator dealers • Home accessibility equipment dealers • Vertical platform lift providers • Stairlift companies • Aging-in-place specialists • Mobility and accessibility equipment companies • Elevator installation and service companies • Home modification contractors specializing in accessibility Geographic Focus (Pilot Project): • Las Vegas, Nevada • Henderson, Nevada • Reno, Nevada • Lake Tahoe region • Immediate surrounding service areas of significant population DELIVERABLES For each company identified, provide: • Company name • Website • Physical address • Main contact information • Key decision maker(s) if available • Email address(es) • Phone number(s) • Core products and services • Brands represented or carried • Service territory • Years in business (if available) • Online reputation summary • Google review rating and review count • Better Business Bureau information (if available) • Trustpilot rating (if available) • Relevant notes from public sources • Assessment of potential fit for the customer The final deliverable should be provided in Excel. PHASE 2 – DEALER OUTREACH SUPPORT (OPTIONAL FOLLOW-ON PROJECT) After completion of the research phase, selected companies will be reviewed internally by the customer team. The consultant may be invited to continue into a second phase that could include: • Assisting in qualification of priority dealer candidates • Supporting outbound contact and introductions • Email outreach to selected prospects • Scheduling introductory meetings • Updating CRM information • Maintaining dealer prospect tracking lists • Supporting regional expansion efforts in other states For Phase 2, the consultant may be provided with: • A temporary company email account • Company introduction materials • Outreach templates • Dealer qualification criteria • NDA and confidentiality requirements IDEAL CANDIDATE • Strong online research skills • Experience with B2B lead generation • Experience identifying distributors, dealers, or channel partners • Excellent English communication skills • Familiarity with construction, accessibility, mobility equipment, elevators, lifts, or building products is a plus • Comfortable working with spreadsheets and CRM-style databases Please provide: 1.
