Deep Sea Ocean Documentary Editor Needed – 2 Videos/Week (Long-Form + Shorts)

We're looking for a skilled video editor to join our growing ocean/deep sea YouTube channel. You'll be editing documentary-style videos covering marine life, ocean exploration, underwater mysteries, and deep sea creatures. What You'll Be Editing: 2 long-form documentaries per week (15-25 minutes each) 2 vertical shorts per video (included in flat rate) What We Provide: Completed scripts with timestamps and direction Voiceover audio files Reference videos for style/pacing What You Provide: All footage sourcing (stock footage, underwater clips, nature B-roll, etc.) Motion graphics, text overlays, and transitions as needed What We're Looking For: Experience editing documentary, nature, or educational content Access to stock footage resources and ability to source relevant clips Strong pacing skills – ability to create wonder and maintain viewer engagement Proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Understanding of YouTube best practices (retention, hooks, pacing) Reliable turnaround and clear communication Compensation: $60 flat rate per video (includes the 2 shorts and all footage sourcing)
