Delaware Attorney for Shopify Fund Recovery

Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Delaware-licensed attorney to assist with an urgent fund recovery matter involving Shopify USA. Our client has retained our firm, and we are seeking outside counsel to evaluate the case, advise on the available legal remedies, and represent the client if litigation becomes necessary. Matter Summary Funds have been placed on a 120-day hold by Shopify. The client is seeking recovery of the withheld funds. We require an attorney who is familiar with commercial disputes, payment processor issues, and e-commerce platform litigation. This is an active client matter requiring a prompt assessment. Responsibilities Review the case documents and supporting evidence. Assess the legal merits of the client's claim. Advise on the most appropriate legal strategy. Draft demand letters or legal filings if necessary. Represent the client in negotiations and, if required, litigation in Delaware. Communicate with our legal team regarding case developments. Requirements Active license to practice law in Delaware. Experience with commercial litigation, contract disputes, or fund recovery matters. Experience handling disputes involving Shopify, payment processors, fintech companies, or e-commerce platforms is highly preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to begin work promptly.
