Delivery Manager / Technical PM, AI-Powered Startup (Fully Remote) About Us We're a fast-moving startup building three AI and SaaS products and delivering backend automation work for enterprise clients. We run a 13-person offshore development team and we're actively delivering client work, including a major engagement with a 100+ year-old enterprise operator in the real estate space. Our stack is modern and AI-first: Zoho Projects, Monday.com, Slack, n8n for automation, and Claude as our primary AI assistant across nearly every internal workflow. The work is getting done, but our operational framework hasn't kept pace with how fast we're scaling. That's where you come in. The Role We're looking for an experienced Delivery Manager / Technical Project Manager to stand up the delivery engine behind our client work and internal product development. This is not a "write some process docs and hand them off" role. We need an operator who can design the framework, roll it out with the dev team, and run it day to day. You'll start by owning the delivery structure for our first active enterprise engagement, a backend automation initiative spanning finance (close cycle, reconciliation, management fees), leasing, and property operations workflows. Your first deliverable will be turning our existing strategy notes into a phased delivery plan with clear workstreams, milestones, and governance checkpoints. For the right person, this becomes a long-term seat with meaningful growth. Strong performers will expand across multiple workstreams, including our three products and additional client engagements, and can potentially grow into a client-facing role over time. What You'll Actually Do - Stand up a real sprint cadence with our offshore dev team, including backlog grooming, velocity tracking, acceptance criteria, retros, and the full rhythm - Build and run async handoff protocols that work across time zones so nothing falls through the cracks - Create a simple, repeatable reporting structure, including weekly internal sprint reports, client-ready status updates, and dashboards that give leadership visibility without chasing - Write and maintain SOPs, onboarding templates, scoping docs, and handoff playbooks as we bring on more clients - Audit end-to-end workflow across products, find bottlenecks (QA gates, release management, design-to-dev handoffs), and optimize - Own delivery planning and execution for our first enterprise engagement, including process mapping, pilot shaping, milestone tracking, and risk management - Work inside Claude and n8n as part of your daily workflow Must-Haves - Proven Scrum/Agile delivery experience with distributed/offshore teams. You've actually run the ceremonies, not just sat in them. - Claude experience strongly preferred. We run on Claude across nearly every internal workflow, and candidates who already use it daily will have a significant advantage. If you're not currently using Claude, please be prepared to explain how you'd ramp quickly. - Enterprise or mature company experience. We're a startup and we want startup energy, but we need someone who's seen how real delivery frameworks work inside a grown-up company and can bring that maturity here. Candidates who've done both startup and enterprise work are ideal. - Excellent written English. A large part of this role is documentation, async communication, and client-ready reporting. - Meaningful time zone overlap with both US Eastern and India Standard Time. - Comfortable with ambiguity. We don't have the process you're coming to build. You need to be energized by that, not frustrated by it. Nice to Have - Familiarity with n8n or similar workflow automation platforms - Experience with Zoho Projects and/or Monday.com - Background in real estate, proptech, property management, or financial operations - Portfolio of SOPs, playbooks, or process documentation you've authored The Trial We want to de-risk this for both of us. The first engagement is a paid 2-week trial project: turn our existing strategy notes for our first enterprise engagement into a phased delivery plan, workstream structure, and initial governance framework. We'll evaluate on clarity of thinking, quality of written output, how you approach the work, and how you ask questions. Strong performance moves directly into an ongoing part-time engagement (20 to 30 hrs/week to start) with clear paths to expansion. Rate & Hours Hours: 20 to 30 hrs/week to start, with runway to grow Rate: Flexible for the right candidate. Please include your target hourly rate in your application. Location: Fully remote To Apply Please include: - A short note on why this role resonates. Not a cover letter, just your honest read. - One example of a delivery framework you stood up (what was broken, what you built, what changed) - Your experience using Claude in your day-to-day work. If you don't currently use it, tell us how you'd ramp. - Your target hourly rate and weekly availability Any questions you have for me
