Demand planning, inventory and order management

Key Responsibilities 🔹 Inventory & Procurement • Monitor stock levels in Odoo ERP and manage reorder points • Coordinate purchase orders, track supplier lead times and deliveries • Reconcile received stock against purchase orders • Maintain accurate product catalog (SKUs, pricing, descriptions) in Odoo • Generate weekly inventory and stock reports 🔹 Key Initiatives & Project Oversight • Oversee and drive key business initiatives from planning through to completion • Work with our Nairobi staff to review progress and ensure projects are completed on time • Coordinate tasks across procurement, sales, and operations teams • Prepare project status updates for the Managing Director • Identify and implement process improvements across operations 🔹 Vendor & Supplier Relations • Maintain an updated vendor database with contacts, pricing, and terms • Communicate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, lead times, and credit terms • Evaluate supplier performance and recommend alternatives when needed • Coordinate with freight and logistics partners for timely parts delivery • Source new or hard-to-find parts as required
