Dental Claims Biller

Summary Dental Claims Biller/Insurance Aging: Responsible for submitting dental insurance claims and adding appropriate attachments to ensure timely reimbursement and accurate account balances. Must Haves/Experience in: • Dental Insurance • Dental Procedures • Dental Claims • X-rays, perio chart • Basic knowledge patients ledger Job Description: • Going through each appointment and making sure providers clinical notes match procedures completed • Checking that all required attachments are attached to claims (x-rays, perio charts, narratives, etc.) • Sending claims electronically to the insurance company • Going over any held up claims in our clearinghouse Contacting offices via email about claim issues • Sending prior Authorizations for PPO insurances Requirements: • Intermediate admin and computer knowledge • Open Dental experience - Preferred, not required • Must be able to work est time zone, 8am - 6pm (may vary 1- 2 hours)
