Design Custom Steel Swing Gate – need structural analysis and Fabrication-Ready Shop Drawings

The 3D model of the main entrance gate is complete. Three things need to be addressed: 1. Structural check. Each main leaf weighs close to 190kg. Sag/deflection: Confirm the gate does not sag or droop noticeably under its own weight. Target: deflection should not exceed roughly 1/240 of the gate's width (or specify an alternate visual/functional limit). Strength under load: Confirm the structure can withstand an additional 80kg person's weight applied at the outer edge of the leaf (farthest from the hinges) — simulating someone climbing over or hanging on the gate — with a minimum Factor of Safety of 2.0 against yielding. Frame sizing: Size the posts and stiles to properly support the slat infill shown in the 3D model. Footing/foundation: Recommend foundation depth and concrete pad/base sizing suitable for a manual (non-motorized) swing gate of this size and weight. 2. Complete the hardware design. Add hinges and a full locking system — primary latch plus secondary padlock security — and a separate pedestrian gate lock. Standard hardware to include: Weld-on hinges (heavy-duty, sized to leaf weight) Drop rod / cane bolt — primary latch, secures the leaf into a ground socket when closed Padlock hasp and staple — secondary security, locks the drop rod in place Pedestrian gate lock set — rim lock or lever-handle lock with keeper/strike plate 3. Produce fabrication-ready shop drawings. Elevation, plan, and section views, hardware mounting details, weld callouts, and a full Bill of Materials (BOM). What I'm Providing 3D model/renders showing the overall gate geometry, the ripple slat pattern on both main leaves, the pedestrian wicket gate, and a frame corner detail. Deliverables 1) Structural report — sag/deflection result and Factor of Safety under the 80kg edge-load case, with calculations or simulation results shown 2) Fabrication-ready 2D shop/detail drawings — DWG and PDF, fully dimensioned, with weld symbols and hardware callouts 3) Bill of Materials (BOM) — steel sections, slat stock, and all hardware, with specs a supplier can quote against 4) Updated 3D model reflecting the finished hardware and any frame revisions (native CAD file + a neutral format such as STEP or SKP) Budget & Timeline $75 USD to start.
