Design Engineer Required – Structural Liner Manufacturing Package

We require an experienced composite engineer to develop a manufacturing specification and drawing package for a proprietary Structural Liner used in high-pressure pipeline applications. The Structural Liner is a close-fit composite liner that becomes the primary structural pressure containment asset after installation. Scope: • Review supplied concepts and requirements. • Define laminate architecture and material specifications. • Develop manufacturing methodology. • Produce manufacturing drawings. • Define QA/QC requirements. • Recommend improvements for manufacturability and repeatability. Deliverables: • Manufacturing Specification. • Laminate Schedule. • Material Specification. • Manufacturing Process Specification. • QA/QC Specification. • General Arrangement Drawings. • Cross-Section Drawings. • Bill of Materials. • Native CAD and PDF files. Materials may include: • Glass fibre. • Carbon fibre. • Epoxy resin systems. • Polyester felt layers. • Protective outer jackets. Required Experience: • Composite engineering. • Pressure pipe systems. • Laminate design. • Composite manufacturing. The final deliverable shall support prototype manufacture, testing and future production development.
