## Responsibilities - Design complete schematic and PCB layout for the Jetson Orin Nano carrier board. - Implement high-speed differential routing for: - PCIe Gen3 - USB 3.2 SuperSpeed - MIPI CSI/DSI - Gigabit Ethernet - HDMI/DisplayPort interfaces - Design a multi-stage power architecture including: - Wide-input power stage - 5V high-current buck converter - Dedicated 3.3V and 1.8V regulators - Power sequencing and monitoring circuitry - Ideal-diode reverse polarity protection - Integrat multiple USB interfaces: - USB Type-C with CC controller - Dual USB 3.0 Type-A ports - USB hub functionality - Current limiting and ESD protection - Design dual PCIe expansion interfaces: - M.2 Key-E socket for Wi-Fi/Bluetooth modules - PCIe edge connector supporting high-speed peripherals - Implement external GPIO expansion using bidirectional voltage translators (1.8V ↔ 3.3V). - Design cooling support including: - PWM-controlled fan - Tachometer feedback - Level shifting for 5V fan control - Add system management circuitry: - Power, Reset, and Recovery buttons - Backup RTC battery - Status LEDs - Shutdown and wake control - Implement comprehensive ESD and transient protection for USB, GPIO, and external interfaces. - Optimize PCB layout for controlled impedance, signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI reduction following high-speed design guidelines. ## Key Features - NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano compatible carrier board - Wide DC input with reverse polarity protection - High-current 5V power supply - 3.3V and 1.8V regulated rails - USB Type-C interface - Dual USB 3.0 Type-A ports - USB hub integration - PCIe x4 expansion connector - M.2 Key-E interface - External GPIO expansion header - PWM fan control - RTC backup battery - Power sequencing - High-speed differential routing - ESD protection throughout external interfaces ## Tools & Skills - EasyEDA Pro / KiCad - High-speed PCB layout - Differential pair tuning - Length matching - Controlled impedance routing - Power integrity analysis - Signal integrity best practices - DFM/DFA for PCB manufacturing
