We are seeking a skilled UI/UX Designer with a solid understanding of GIS for a crucial role in crafting an outstanding dashboard design that strikes a balance between UI and UX. The dashboard will feature a significant amount of GIS data and essential components, including a search bar, filters, a comment section enabling seamless interaction between administrators and users, and various other tools. Your role will involve rapidly transforming our existing mockup into a design that not only effectively presents GIS data but also provides a visually appealing and user-friendly experience. Responsibilities: • Collaborate closely with our team to quickly grasp project requirements and user needs. • Utilize Figma for streamlined collaborative design, fostering real-time partnership. • Enhance the existing mockup, employing a balanced approach to both UI and UX design. • Create an intuitive interface that optimizes GIS data visualization and interaction. • Design user-friendly navigation and seamless user flows for an elevated experience. • Apply best practices in UI/UX design for enhanced usability and accessibility. • Work closely with developers to ensure the smooth implementation of your design. Skills and Qualifications: • Proven expertise as a UI/UX Designer, with a preference for dashboard design experience. • Proficiency in Figma for efficient collaborative design efforts. • Familiarity with basic GIS concepts and data visualization in mapping. • Showcase a portfolio highlighting UI/UX skills and prior projects. • Strong grasp of GIS data visualization principles for effective communication. • Ability to strike a balance between aesthetic UI design and user-centered UX. • Exceptional communication skills and a proactive, collaborative approach. Expected Deliverables: • Polished dashboard design aligned with project goals and user expectations. • UI design components (icons, buttons, etc.) for a consistent brand image. • Comprehensive design assets and detailed specifications ready for development.
