# **Book Designer Needed – Teacher Companion (Editorial Layout & Design)** We are looking for an experienced **editorial/book designer** to design a professional **Teacher Companion** for our classic literature series. This project is for **one complete Teacher Companion** based on **Frankenstein**. The manuscript has already been written. Your role is **design only**. ## Scope * Design approximately **64 A4 portrait pages**. * Follow the editorial style shown in the supplied sample. * Create a clean, modern educational layout suitable for teachers. * Apply the design consistently across the entire book. * Deliver an editable source file (Adobe InDesign preferred) together with a print-ready PDF. ## Style Requirements The design **must closely reflect the attached sample** in terms of: * Editorial hierarchy * Typography * Page structure * Margins * Use of headings and call-out boxes * Educational workbook feel * Professional publishing quality We are **not** looking for a completely new design concept. We want the finished book to follow the same visual style and production quality as the supplied sample. ## Images Illustrations **may be taken directly from the supplied Frankenstein reader**. Please do **not** source or generate new artwork. The existing illustrations from the book should be incorporated into the page layouts where appropriate. ## Deliverables * Complete design of approximately **64 A4 pages** * Print-ready PDF * Packaged Adobe InDesign files (or equivalent editable files) * Linked images and fonts (where licensing permits) ## When Applying Please include: * Examples of educational books, workbooks or editorial publications you have designed * Your experience with Adobe InDesign * Your **fixed-price quote for the complete project** * Your estimated **timeline** to complete all pages * Confirmation that you can work closely to the supplied sample design ## Future Work This is the **first title in a series**. If the project is successful, there will be opportunities to design additional Teacher Companions for other classic literature titles using the same design system.
