UI/UX Designer & Brand Lead (Contract / Fractional)

MetaBull has built an AI-native production platform for film, animation, and digital content creation. Our platform spans multiple products (AI tools, web and desktop apps, and creator workflows), and we are seeking a contract UI/UX Designer & Brand Lead to unify the visual and product experience across all touchpoints. We are looking for a high-quality, part-time/fractional designer who can establish and maintain a cohesive design system and brand standard while working closely with our engineering team. Initially, this is not a full-time role, however, it could grow to full time. You will act as both: • Product/UI Designer to shape intuitive, modern interfaces across our applications • Brand Steward to define and maintain a consistent visual identity across products, web, and marketing surfaces This role ensures that all MetaBull experiences adhere to a single, unified design language and style guide. DO NOT EMAIL OR CALL Key Responsibilities Design System & Brand • Define, evolve, and maintain MetaBull’s design system and style guide • Establish standards for: o Typography, color systems, spacing o Iconography and motion o UI components and reusable patterns • Ensure consistency across: o Web apps o Product UI (Felix, Edison, AIR, etc.) o Marketing and landing pages UI/UX Design • Design modern, clean, production-grade interfaces for AI-native workflows • Translate complex workflows into intuitive UI/UX (guided flows, multi-step tools, etc.) • Improve usability, clarity, and visual hierarchy across the platform • Work with emerging AI interfaces (multi-step tools, guided processes, creator workflows) Collaboration with Engineering Work directly with engineers to translate designs into implementation-ready specifications, align on constraints and iteration cycles, leverage tools like Claude Design to accelerate output, and review implemented features to ensure high design fidelity. Ongoing Governance Ensure ongoing product updates align with established design standards by reviewing changes, providing clear feedback on emerging UI patterns and workflows, and continuously maintaining and evolving the design system as new features and products are introduced.
