UX/UI Designer — Multi-Platform Product Design

Seniors lose $28 billion a year to online scams. We're building the product that stops it — and we need a UX/UI designer to help us get the experience right. KyN Defense is an early-stage cybersecurity company founded by three veterans of PAS Global, a critical infrastructure security company acquired by Hexagon. We know how to build products that stop real threats — now we're building one for families. Think Life360, but for scam prevention instead of location safety: a family protection network anchored by our sharpest use case — an adult child protecting a parent — and extending across the whole family. Our architecture is done and independently reviewed, spanning four connected surfaces: a Windows agent, a web dashboard, and two iOS apps. What's missing is the experience layer. This is a full-time design sprint, not a slow-burn contract — our documentation is thorough enough to move fast, and the founders will be closely involved throughout. You'll own the design system, the accessibility approach, and the cross-platform experience for an underserved audience.
