UI/UX Designer — Roofing Estimate & Proposal Templates (Figma)

Design & Creative → UI/UX Design Budget: Fixed Price Project Length: 1–2 weeks Experience Level: Intermediate to Expert About the Project We're building a professional roofing software platform used by multiple roofing companies across the country. We need a talented UI/UX designer to create a set of polished, modern proposal/estimate templates that will be used to impress homeowners and commercial property managers at the point of sale. These are not simple PDF forms — these are client-facing proposal documents that need to look like they came from a premium brand. The cover page especially needs a "wow factor" — something that grabs attention, builds trust, and sets our clients apart from their competition. What You'll Be Designing You'll deliver three fully designed estimate/proposal templates preferably in Figma: Residential Roof Replacement Proposal Residential Roof Repair Proposal Commercial Roofing Proposal Each template will include the following sections: Cover Page (Highest Priority) This is the first thing a customer sees — it must be visually striking and professional Should prominently feature the roofing company's branding (logo, company name, colors) Should include job address, date, and a compelling hero visual or design element Must feel premium — think luxury home service brand, not a generic contractor quote Scope of Work / Project Summary Clear description of the work being performed Space for photos of the existing roof (before images) Pricing & Quote Details Line item breakdown with descriptions, quantities, and unit pricing Subtotals, taxes, and totals clearly organized Good / Better / Best tiered options — side-by-side comparison layout that is easy for homeowners to understand and choose from Upgrade Options Section Visual upgrade menu with product images (e.g. upgraded shingles, underlayment, gutters, ridge caps, skylights) Each upgrade should have a name, brief description, photo, and add-on price Layout must be clean and scannable — not overwhelming Important Design Requirements Figma is preferred — designs should be delivered as a well-organized Figma file with components and auto-layout where appropriate Multi-brand flexibility is preferred — since multiple roofing companies will use these templates, the designs must use a clear color/theme system (Figma variables or styles) so colors, fonts, and logo placements can be swapped easily per brand Designs should feel modern and premium — clean typography, professional photography placeholders, strong visual hierarchy Must be print-ready as well as screen-friendly (proposals are often sent as PDFs or printed) Deliverables 3 fully designed proposal templates in Figma (Residential Replacement, Residential Repair, Commercial) Organized Figma file with named frames, reusable components, and color/text styles Ideal Candidate Strong portfolio of document design, proposal design, or print/PDF design Experience with Figma (components, auto-layout, variables/styles) Experience designing for SaaS products, service businesses, or contractor software is a strong plus Understands how to balance visual impact with practical readability Can work independently and deliver within a 1–2 week timeline Communicates clearly and is open to feedback
