UI/UX Designer for Large Website

Contract UI/UX Designer (5–7+ Years Experience) Location: Remote Job Type: Contract (with potential for full-time employment) We're looking for an experienced UI/UX Designer to join our team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented designer who is passionate about creating intuitive, user-centered digital experiences. The right candidate may have the opportunity to transition into a full-time position. Responsibilities - Design intuitive, engaging, and visually compelling user interfaces for web and mobile applications. - Develop wireframes, user flows, mockups, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs. - Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into user-focused solutions. - Conduct user research, usability testing, and incorporate feedback into design iterations. - Maintain and contribute to design systems, style guides, and UI component libraries. - Stay current with UI/UX trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Required Qualifications - 5–7+ years of professional UI/UX design experience - Expert proficiency in Figma is required - Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design across web and mobile platforms - Experience creating responsive, accessible, and scalable digital experiences - Solid understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and usability principles - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Self-directed with strong time estimation instincts -Honest about what you know and don't know Preferred Qualifications - Experience designing AI-powered features, conversational interfaces, or workflows that incorporate generative AI (Claude, and Codex) - Experience working in Agile development environments - Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Slack, and Jira a plus What We Offer - Opportunity to work on innovative digital products. - Collaborative and fast-paced team environment. - Flexible contract engagement. - Potential for full-time employment for the right candidate.
