Designer for Venture Studio Part-Time to Potential F/T Role (UI/UX + brand experience preferred)

Our venture studio is seeking an exceptionally talented and versatile designer to join our team on an as-needed basis, with the potential for full-time employment in our ventures for the right candidate. We are looking for a creative professional who can thrive in the fast-paced world of startups and help bring our groundbreaking projects to life. Responsibilities: 1. Collaborate with our team to create visually stunning and user-friendly designs for our portfolio companies and internal projects. 2. Work on a wide range of design tasks, including UI/UX design, branding, marketing materials, and more. 3. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide design solutions that align with business goals. 4. Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders and user testing. 5. Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies to ensure our projects remain competitive and cutting-edge. Required Skills and Experience: 1. Exceptional portfolio showcasing your design skills and experience. 2. Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Illustrator is a must. 3. Experience with UI/UX design, responsive web design, and mobile app design. Bonus consideration if you also possess deep branding skills. 4. Deep understanding of design principles, color theory, typography, and layout. 5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 7. Familiarity with agile development methodologies is a plus. 8. Experience working with startups or in a venture studio setting is highly desired. Job Details: - Hours: 12 to 40 hours per week, depending on project requirements and your availability. You must be available for at least 4 hours of the working day during Eastern United States timezone. - Location: Remote work with the possibility of in-person collaboration sessions (if applicable). - Duration: Ongoing, with the potential for full-time employment and significant bonus payouts.
