UI/UX Designer for eCommerce Web Projects

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to join our agency team on a project-based or part-time basis. Polyany is an eCommerce web development agency working with Shopify, PrestaShop, WooCommerce, custom web apps, product configurators, and mobile applications. We are looking for a designer who can help us create clear, practical, conversion-focused interfaces for online stores, landing pages, product pages, configurators, and web applications. The ideal candidate has strong experience with eCommerce UX, understands how design decisions affect usability and conversions, and can prepare clean, developer-friendly designs in Figma. Responsibilities - Design user-friendly and visually clean interfaces for eCommerce websites, landing pages, product pages, and web apps. - Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and responsive layouts. - Improve existing website interfaces based on UX logic, client feedback, analytics, and business goals. - Prepare designs for Shopify, PrestaShop, WooCommerce, and custom web development projects. - Work closely with project managers, developers, and QA specialists. - Structure Figma files clearly for development handoff. - Prepare desktop, tablet, and mobile versions where needed. - Review implemented pages and provide design QA feedback. - Suggest practical UX improvements, especially for navigation, product pages, checkout flow, forms, filters, and conversion points. Required Skills - Proven UI/UX design experience for eCommerce or web applications. - Strong Figma skills. - Understanding of responsive design principles. - Ability to create practical, developer-ready designs. - Good understanding of eCommerce UX patterns: product pages, collection pages, filters, cart, checkout, bundles, landing pages, etc. - Ability to explain design decisions clearly. - Attention to detail in spacing, typography, layout, consistency, and mobile usability. - Ability to work independently and meet agreed deadlines. - Good written communication in English. Nice to Have - Experience designing Shopify stores or Shopify landing pages. - Experience with PrestaShop, WooCommerce, or other eCommerce platforms. - Experience with CRO-focused design and conversion improvements. - Basic understanding of frontend implementation limitations. - Experience designing product configurators, custom product flows, quizzes, or multi-step forms. - Experience preparing design systems or UI kits. - Portfolio examples from real eCommerce projects.
