UI/UX Designer
Worldwide
We need a conversion-focused UI/UX Designer to: Improve clarity and speed-to-understanding for first-time visitors Optimize landing pages, homepage, and product pages for conversion Reduce friction across the customer journey (browse -- product page -- cart -- checkout) Support revenue growth through better UX decisions, testing, and iteration Your mission is to increase conversion by designing pages that: Communicate product value in 1–3 seconds Make the primary CTA obvious and compelling Build trust quickly and reduce user objections Guide visitors smoothly from ad click to checkout completion What You’ll Own (Responsibilities) 1) Conversion-Focused Website UX (Primary) Audit and redesign homepage, landing pages, and product page templates to improve conversion outcomes. Improve information hierarchy, readability, and “one-second clarity.” Create product-first layouts that prioritize: top benefits, best-selling products, trust-building elements (reviews, guarantees, shipping/returns clarity), objection handling (use cases, compatibility, safety, performance). 2) Meta Ad -- Landing Page Continuity (Message Match) Ensure “message match” between Meta ads and landing pages: same promise, same product, same angle. Align above-the-fold content: headline, hero visual, offer, proof, and one primary CTA. Build modular landing sections that can be swapped/tested based on top-performing ad angles. 3) Funnel & Customer Journey Optimization (End-to-End) Identify friction points across: navigation and product discovery, product page comprehension, add-to-cart, cart and checkout completion. Improve UX flows to reduce hesitation and increase purchase confidence. 4) Testing, Iteration & Data-Informed Design Turn insights from analytics, heatmaps, session recordings, and feedback into design changes. Produce 2–3 testable design variants per key template/section. Partner with marketing/performance teams to define ideas and prioritize experiments. 5) Collaboration & Implementation Work closely with Marketing, SEO, and Performance to align content intent with traffic source. Deliver implementation-ready Figma files (responsive layouts, components, states, and basic annotations). Collaborate with developers to ensure designs ship accurately and efficiently. Required: Proven Track Record (Non-Negotiable) To be considered, you must provide 2–3 ecommerce conversion efficiency case studies showing: The conversion problem + idea/hypothesis What you changed (before/after) How you measured impact Results (preferred) or clear learnings and next iteration plan if results are confidential We’re specifically looking for proven impact on: Conversion rate (landing pages and product pages) Add-to-cart rate Checkout completion Bounce rate / scroll depth Core Qualities We Need Strong conversion-driven UX mindset Ability to design around a clear primary CTA Strong understanding of visual hierarchy and fast comprehension Product-first design approach Ability to remove friction and anticipate objections Comfortable with testing, iteration, and data-informed decisions Strong collaborator with marketing/SEO/performance teams Skills & Experience Must-Haves 3+ years UI/UX design experience (ecommerce preferred) Strong Figma skills (components, variants, responsive design) Portfolio containing landing pages, product pages, and funnel/journey work Experience working with metrics, analytics, and testing Nice-to-Haves Shopify experience (themes/templates, working within constraints) Familiarity with GA4, Hotjar/Clarity, VWO/Optimizely (or similar tools) Knowledge of UX writing or ability to structure content for clarity Understanding of SEO + UX interaction (structure that supports intent)
