Dev.to Community Contributor (Developer Writer & Commenter)

Summary We're looking for an active Dev.to community member who enjoys participating in technical discussions and writing authentic developer content. This is not a copywriting or promotional role. We're looking for someone who already understands the Dev.to community, regularly engages with developers, and can contribute naturally through comments, discussions, and occasional posts. This is ongoing work for the right person. What You'll Do Participate in relevant Dev.to discussions by leaving thoughtful, helpful comments Publish occasional developer-focused articles based on topics we provide (or suggest your own) Engage naturally with other developers and contribute meaningful insights Follow Dev.to community guidelines and best practices Share links to your published comments or posts for review What We're Looking For Active Dev.to account with an established profile Previous history of publishing articles and/or engaging through comments Strong written English Background in software development, DevOps, cloud, Node.js, AI, or related technical fields Comfortable writing in a natural, developer-first tone Able to follow simple content guidelines while keeping contributions authentic Nice to Have Experience with Node.js, JavaScript, Python, Docker, Linux, AI, or cloud hosting Existing audience or followers on Dev.to Familiarity with other developer communities such as GitHub, Reddit, Hacker News, or Stack Overflow To Apply Please include: A link to your Dev.to profile Two or three Dev.to articles or comments you're most proud of A short description of your technical background Your proposed rate per comment or per article (or hourly rate) We'll review your profile first, and shortlisted applicants will be invited to complete a small paid trial before moving into ongoing work.
