Dev Ops & Infrastructure support Engineer (Part time)

We are looking for an experienced DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer to support and improve our SaaS platform infrastructure. This is a part-time role working UK hours, focused on enhancing deployment pipelines, infrastructure reliability, and release processes. Responsibilities Review, maintain, and improve the existing CI/CD pipeline Introduce automation to streamline deployments and infrastructure management Manage and optimise infrastructure within DigitalOcean Work closely with the development team to support releases and reduce deployment friction Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging to improve visibility and uptime Identify bottlenecks and recommend infrastructure improvements Support incident response and troubleshooting when required Improve security, scalability, and resilience of the deployment environment Requirements Strong hands-on experience with DigitalOcean Solid knowledge of Git and Git-based workflows Experience building and improving CI/CD pipelines Strong automation experience (e.g. deployment scripts, infrastructure as code) Experience with monitoring and observability tools Understanding of containerisation, server management, and release workflows Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with a small development team Nice to Have Experience with SaaS environments Knowledge of security best practices Familiarity with scaling web applications and optimising cloud costs
