DevOps Engineer for Production Infrastructure

Job Title: DevOps Engineer (AWS) Experience: 3–6 Years Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-Time We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer who has actually worked on building, deploying, and maintaining production infrastructure — not someone who has only completed certifications or managed test environments. This role is for someone comfortable owning cloud environments, improving deployment reliability, and working closely with development teams to ship faster without compromising stability. What you'll be doing Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure across staging and production environments Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments Automate infrastructure provisioning and environment setup Monitor system performance, availability, and incident response Work closely with developers to improve release cycles and deployment practices Implement security best practices across infrastructure and deployments Troubleshoot production issues and improve system resilience Maintain documentation and infrastructure standards Must-have experience 3–6 years in DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure roles Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, Route53, ECS/EKS preferred) Experience with Docker and containerized deployments Good understanding of Kubernetes Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar) Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation Linux administration and shell scripting Monitoring and logging tools experience Nice to have Experience supporting high-traffic production applications Knowledge of security, backup, and disaster recovery practices Exposure to microservices architecture AWS certifications (good to have, not mandatory) What we care about We value engineers who understand trade-offs, ask the right questions, and can explain why a setup exists—not just deploy tools because they are trending.
