Developer Needed to Submit AI Skills to GitHub Repositories
Worldwide
We’re looking for a developer or technical open-source contributor to help submit our AI skills repository to relevant GitHub repositories. We have a repository of AI skills designed for developer workflows. We want to increase their visibility by submitting them to relevant GitHub repositories and marketplaces where developers discover AI skills, tools, prompts, agents, or integrations. This is not a copy-paste submission task. Each repository has its own structure, formatting rules, examples, validation requirements, and contribution process. We need someone who can understand the technical format, adjust the skills correctly, test or validate them where possible, and submit high-quality pull requests with the best possible chance of acceptance. What you’ll do: Research relevant GitHub repositories where our AI skills can be submitted Review each repository’s contribution rules and accepted formats Adapt our AI skills to match the required structure Test or validate the adapted skills where possible Submit clean GitHub pull requests Respond to maintainer feedback and make requested changes Track submitted repositories, PR links, statuses, and next steps You should be comfortable with: GitHub pull requests and open-source contribution workflows Markdown, YAML, JSON, and repository structure conventions Reading technical documentation and following repo-specific rules Basic testing or validation of developer tooling/config files Communicating clearly with open-source maintainers Experience with AI coding assistants, Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codex, MCP, agents, prompts, or skills-based workflows is a strong plus. You don’t need to be a marketing specialist, but you should understand the strategic value of this work: better GitHub visibility, stronger presence in AI/dev-tooling ecosystems, and higher chances that developers discover and use our skills. Deliverables For each repository, we expect: Short relevance assessment Adapted skill files or metadata in the required format Tested or validated submission where possible Submitted GitHub pull request Status tracker with links, notes, and maintainer feedback Success criteria The work is successful if: Target repositories are relevant Submissions follow each repo’s exact requirements PRs are clean, complete, and easy to review Maintainer feedback is handled properly We avoid low-quality submissions that waste time or get rejected immediately To apply Please include: Examples of GitHub PRs or open-source contributions you’ve made Any experience with AI coding assistants, MCP, agents, prompts, or skills How you would research and prioritize relevant repositories Your preferred pricing model: hourly, fixed price for a batch, per submitted PR, or per accepted PR We’d like to start with a small test batch first and continue if the quality is good.
