AI Developer Needed – n8n Workflow for Automated Instagram Reels Project Overview We are looking for an experienced AI Automation Developer / n8n Developer to build an automated workflow for creating and publishing Instagram Reels. The goal is to create a system where we provide content in a structured JSON file, and the n8n workflow automatically processes the content, generates a short-form video/Reel using AI, and prepares/publishes it to Instagram. This is a long-term opportunity for the right freelancer. We are initially offering $8 USD/hour, with opportunities for higher payments and continued work based on performance and successful project completion. What We Want to Build The workflow should be able to: Receive/read content from a JSON file. Extract the required information such as: Reel topic Script Caption Keywords/hashtags Video instructions Other relevant metadata Generate the Reel automatically using AI/video-generation tools. The Reel should have approximately: 30% AI avatar speaking 70% short video/B-roll/visual clips Automatically combine the avatar section, B-roll/video clips, voice/audio, subtitles, transitions, etc. Generate a final vertical video suitable for Instagram Reels. Generate or use the provided caption and hashtags. Connect with Instagram through the appropriate API/automation method. Automatically publish or schedule the Reel to Instagram. Include error handling and notifications if any step in the workflow fails. Keep the workflow modular so that AI/video-generation tools can be changed later if required. Example Workflow The expected workflow may look something like: JSON Content → n8n → Script/Content Processing → AI Avatar → B-roll/Short Videos → Voice/Audio → Video Assembly → Subtitles → Final Reel → Instagram → Publish/Schedule We are open to your recommendations regarding the best AI tools and APIs for generating the avatar, video clips, voice, subtitles, and final video. Required Skills You should have strong experience with: n8n Workflow automation REST APIs Webhooks JSON Instagram/Meta APIs AI automation AI video generation AI avatar/video tools Text-to-speech Video editing/assembly APIs FFmpeg or similar video-processing tools Error handling and workflow monitoring Experience with tools such as HeyGen, Synthesia, D-ID, Runway, Kling, Veo, Creatomate, Shotstack, ElevenLabs, or similar platforms is a plus. You do NOT need to use these exact tools. We are interested in the most reliable and cost-effective solution.
