AI/ML Developer & Technical Proposal Writer (OCR / NLP / LLM / Full Stack) - LEGITIMATE U.S ONLY

We are seeking a highly skilled AI/ML Developer with hands-on experience building modern applications leveraging OCR, NLP, LLMs, and deep learning technologies. In addition to development responsibilities, this role also includes supporting technical proposal writing and solution architecture documentation related to AI/ML initiatives for various opportunities. This is an ideal role for someone who can both build AI-powered solutions and clearly communicate technical concepts, architectures, implementation approaches, and innovation strategies in written proposals. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML applications using OCR, NLP, and Large Language Models (LLMs) Build intelligent document processing pipelines and multilingual text extraction systems Develop AI-powered mobile and web applications Integrate LLM APIs, vector databases, RAG pipelines, and AI orchestration frameworks Support technical proposal writing, solution narratives, whitepapers, and architecture diagrams Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define AI/ML strategies and implementation roadmaps Develop scalable APIs and backend services for AI applications Participate in model evaluation, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and optimization efforts Support cloud deployment and DevOps workflows for AI-enabled systems Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related field 2+ years of professional AI/ML development experience Strong Python development experience Experience with OCR technologies, language identification, translation systems, and intelligent document processing Experience with NLP, LLMs, prompt engineering, and generative AI applications Experience with modern AI frameworks and libraries: TensorFlow PyTorch Keras Hugging Face Transformers LangChain / LlamaIndex Experience integrating commercial or open-source LLMs: OpenAI Anthropic Gemini Ollama / local LLMs Experience with vector databases and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) Experience using Google ML Kit Experience with Robot Operating System (ROS) Experience with Kotlin, JavaScript, and Python Experience with REST APIs and microservice architectures Mobile & Frontend Development Experience Experience writing SBIR/STTR proposals Experience with one or more of the following: React Native Flutter Native iOS / Android development Frontend technologies: React Vue.js HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript / TypeScript Backend & Full Stack Experience Backend frameworks: Django / Django REST Framework Express.js FastAPI (preferred) Infrastructure & Hosting: AWS Azure Docker Kubernetes (preferred) Servers & Databases: Nginx AWS RDS MySQL PostgreSQL Preferred Qualifications: Experience deploying AI workloads in cloud environments Familiarity with MLOps workflows and CI/CD pipelines Experience with AI security, model governance, and data privacy considerations Experience supporting government proposals, SBIRs, RFPs, or technical capture efforts Ability to create architecture diagrams, technical responses, and implementation strategies Strong written and verbal communication skills Nice to Have: Experience with multimodal AI systems Experience with computer vision pipelines Experience with edge AI or on-device inference Security clearance or government contracting experience Experience with CUDA/GPU optimization What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who is: Technically strong and hands-on Able to work independently Comfortable wearing multiple hats Strong at both engineering and technical writing Passionate about modern AI technologies and practical real-world implementation
