Digital Authority, Backlink & Community Influence Strategist

Biotech / SEO / Reddit / Digital PR / AEO We are a specialized biotech and life sciences recruiting firm looking for a senior consultant to strengthen our backlink profile, digital authority, brand visibility and influence across relevant online communities. This role has two primary mandates: Backlinks & Digital Authority Build a stronger portfolio of high-quality, relevant backlinks, third-party mentions and digital PR opportunities. This should include competitive backlink analysis, identifying high-value sources and publications, outreach opportunities, unlinked mentions, expert commentary, original research/linkable assets and other strategies you recommend. Reddit & Community Influence Develop a thoughtful strategy for increasing our visibility and credibility within Reddit and other relevant biotech, recruiting and professional communities. We want to understand where important conversations are happening, how competitors are discussed, where our team can contribute genuine expertise, and how individual recruiters and leaders can develop greater subject-matter authority. Strategy First We want someone who will first understand who we are, what we do, how we differentiate and what can be independently corroborated about us, then develop a specific strategy based on what you find. This should include evaluating our competitors, backlink profile, community presence, search visibility and how we are represented across Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and other AI/search platforms. We are not looking for someone simply to execute a predefined SEO checklist. We want a consultant who can identify opportunities, challenge our assumptions and tell us where to focus. Ideal Background Experience across several of the following: High-quality backlink acquisition Digital PR / earned media Reddit and community strategy SEO and competitive intelligence AEO / GEO / AI search B2B brand authority and thought leadership Experience in biotech, healthcare, recruiting or another specialized B2B market is a plus.
