Digital Forensics and Cybersecurity Assessment

Title: Digital Forensics & Cybersecurity Specialist Needed (Mobile & Computer Intrusion Investigation) Description: I am seeking a highly experienced digital forensics and cybersecurity professional to conduct a comprehensive forensic assessment of my personal devices, including mobile phones and computers. I have reason to believe my devices and/or accounts may have been compromised by unauthorized actors. This engagement is critical, as findings may be used in a civil legal matter. I require a methodical, evidence-based approach that meets a standard suitable for legal proceedings. Scope of Work: * Perform a full forensic analysis of mobile devices (iOS/Android) and computers (Mac/Windows) * Identify any indicators of compromise (malware, spyware, unauthorized access, remote control, etc.) * Trace potential intrusion vectors (phishing, network breaches, account takeovers, etc.) * Review network activity and account access logs where applicable * Advise on secure evidence collection and preservation (chain of custody) * Provide a detailed written report outlining findings, methodologies, and conclusions * Be available for ongoing consultation if required Key Requirements: * Proven experience in digital forensics and cybersecurity investigations * Familiarity with forensic tools and methodologies (e.g., Cellebrite, EnCase, FTK, or similar) * Understanding of legal standards for evidence handling and reporting * Ability to clearly document findings in a professional, court-appropriate format * Strong communication and discretion Preferred Qualifications: * Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, GCFA, or similar * Prior experience supporting legal cases or expert witness work * Experience with both mobile and desktop forensic analysis Engagement Details: * Remote initially, with potential for ongoing/on-call advisory support * Location: Australia preferred, but open to qualified international experts * Urgency: High — immediate start preferred To Apply: Please include: * Summary of relevant experience * Tools and methodologies you use * Any relevant certifications * Examples of similar work (redacted if necessary) * Availability and hourly/project rate Confidentiality is essential.
