Digital Infrastructure Project Manager (Remote, PT/FT/contract-to-hire)

Job Title: Digital/IT Project Manager (Remote, Contract) Location: Remote Rate: $25 USD per hour, depending on experience Start Date: As soon as possible ThroughPut Marketing, a boutique digital marketing and technology agency, is seeking a detail-oriented and agile-savvy Digital/IT Project Manager to lead delivery of digital infrastructure and web product projects across our portfolio, including clients in the crypto, fintech, and technology sectors. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and agency leadership to ensure agile principles are followed rigorously—from sprint planning and backlog grooming to retrospectives and delivery. Ideal candidates will bring proven agile project management experience, strong client communication skills, and a proactive mindset to drive execution and cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities * Agile Project Management: Lead agile ceremonies (e.g. sprint planning, standups, retrospectives), enforce delivery timelines, and coach team members on agile best practices. Maintain sprint velocity and drive continuous improvement. * Client Communications & Stakeholder Management: Act as the key liaison with assigned clients—especially in the crypto and fintech spaces—for updates, requirements clarification, reporting, and overall relationship success. * Digital Product Development Oversight: Collaborate with in-house product managers/product owners to develop and deliver custom digital infrastructure tools, internal platforms, and client-facing applications. * Requirements Capture & Prioritization: Translate client and stakeholder needs into user stories, epics, and actionable tasks. Work with product and engineering teams to estimate, prioritize, and track progress. * Team Coordination: Manage developers, designers, and contractors to keep projects on track while proactively removing blockers and aligning with broader delivery goals. * Process Optimization: Assess current project workflows and recommend improvements for scalability, efficiency, and clarity. Implement QA procedures and tool integrations to support delivery quality. * Account Growth Support: Support agency leadership in building strategic relationships with key accounts through operational excellence and insights derived from analytics and performance tracking. Preferred Qualifications * 2+ years of experience in agile digital project management * Strong understanding of SCRUM, Kanban, and hybrid agile models * PMP certification or equivalent (ScrumMaster, PMI-ACP, etc.) strongly preferred * Experience managing web/digital infrastructure projects, including CMS, APIs, hosting, etc. * Prior work with clients in fintech, crypto, SaaS, or emerging tech industries * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Familiarity with tools like ClickUp, Jira, Notion, Asana, Discord, Slack, Sharepoint, and Google Workspace * Bonus: Knowledge of technical SEO, Web3 integrations, or data analytics tools What You’ll Use * Project Management: ClickUp/Asana, Notion * Communication: Discord, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet * Documentation & Reporting: Google Workspace, Microsoft Teams, Notion, Sharepoint Additional Info * Type: Remote, part-time or full-time (contractor; open contract-to-hire) * Work-for-Hire: All deliverables and IP remain property of ThroughPut Marketing * Security & NDA: Must maintain strict confidentiality and uphold data security standards
