We're looking for a strategic marketing partner to help maintain and strengthen our digital presence, grow brand awareness, and continue building thought leadership through meaningful, data-driven content. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who enjoys both strategy and execution and can work independently while proactively bringing new ideas to the table. About the Role We're seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Strategist who can manage our ongoing digital marketing efforts while continuously identifying opportunities to improve our online presence. The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist, content creator, analyst, and project manager. This role requires someone who is comfortable taking ownership with minimal oversight and can balance creativity with measurable business outcomes. Responsibilities Digital Marketing Strategy * Maintain an ongoing digital marketing strategy based on the Social Media Strategy we have developed * Build and manage a monthly content calendar. * Research industry trends and competitor activity. * Identify opportunities for thought leadership and brand awareness. * Recommend marketing initiatives based on performance data. Social Media Management * Create high-quality content primarily for LinkedIn and other appropriate social platforms. * Write engaging social media copy aligned with our brand voice. * Schedule and publish content. * Regular engagement and monitoring engagement and audience activity. * Recommend improvements based on platform performance. Expected Cadence * Approximately 6-8 high-quality social media posts per month including accompanying media/visuals Content Marketing * Develop content ideas and draft blog content aligned with our business goals. * Research relevant technology topics. * Collaborate with internal subject matter experts. * Repurpose existing content into multiple formats. * Support company announcements, events, and marketing initiatives. Blog & SEO * Develop SEO-focused content ideas. * Write and optimize blog articles as needed. * Perform keyword research. * Recommend website content improvements. * Monitor organic search performance. * Identify opportunities to improve website visibility. Analytics & Reporting Monitor and evaluate marketing performance across digital channels, including: * Website traffic * Organic search * LinkedIn performance * Engagement * Reach * Impressions * Follower growth * Lead indicators Provide concise monthly reporting that includes: * Performance highlights * Key insights * Recommendations * Action items We currently use Databox but are open to recommendations if you have experience with alternative reporting platforms. Brand Management Help maintain consistency across all marketing efforts by ensuring alignment with our: * Brand voice * Messaging * Content pillars * Visual identity * Target audience Research Conduct ongoing research regarding: * Industry trends * Competitors * Emerging technologies * Customer interests * Relevant news Translate those findings into actionable marketing recommendations. Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone with experience marketing one or more of the following: * Managed Service Providers (MSPs) * IT Services * Cybersecurity * SaaS * Enterprise Technology * Professional Services The ideal candidate is: * Strategic and proactive * An exceptional writer * Organized and detail-oriented * Comfortable working independently * Confident presenting recommendations backed by data Preferred Skills * B2B Marketing * LinkedIn Marketing * SEO * Content Marketing * Blog Writing * Google Analytics * Databox (preferred but not required) * WordPress * Canva or Adobe Creative Suite * AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, etc.) used responsibly to improve quality and efficiency What Success Looks Like Success in this role means helping Chelsea Technologies: * Maintain a polished, professional digital presence. * Increase brand awareness and engagement. * Grow qualified website traffic through content and SEO. * Strengthen thought leadership within the IT industry. * Deliver actionable marketing insights backed by analytics. * Operate proactively with minimal day-to-day oversight. Engagement Details Monthly Budget: $1,500 USD * Long-term partnership preferred. * Flexible monthly workload based on agreed-upon deliverables.
