Direct Response Creative Strategist (Meta/TikTok Ads) Needed

We run a quickly-growing health and beauty brand that sells through short-form ads on Meta and TikTok. We're hiring a full-time creative strategist to find the angles that sell and turn them into briefs our editor can execute. This is a long-term role on a small, focused team. You are the brain behind our ad creative. You'll dig through performance data, customer reviews, and competitor ads to find the angles other brands miss, then write the brief and the script that turns each angle into an ad. Every concept gets judged on one question: did it sell? What you'll do: Mine performance data, reviews, and support tickets for the angles competitors miss Reverse-engineer why winning ads win, ours and other brands', and turn the pattern into repeatable concepts Write the brief and the script: hook, angle, mechanism, beat by beat, references, and the emotional job each ad has to do Run a fast concept-test loop and cut your own losers without ego Work closely with the editor as a creative pair, not someone tossing requests over a wall Own the numbers your concepts produce What we're looking for: You've written briefs or concepts that became ads that actually scaled, and you can show the before and after You understand direct response: awareness levels, hooks, angles, mechanisms, and how to move a cold audience to buy You can read an ad account and let the data decide, not your taste You write clearly and move fast You can take direct feedback like "this concept is weak, here's why" and act on it Bonus: you've written ad copy or worked inside Meta or TikTok ad accounts directly The setup: Full-time, fully remote, paid holidays Base pay plus a bonus when your concepts scale Room to grow as the brand grows Your concepts run on real ad spend across a brand that is genuinely scaling A media buyer owns the spend and an editor cuts your concepts, so you stay focused on strategy and briefs A founder who gives clear, direct feedback How to apply: Start your message with the word ANGLE so we know you read this.
