We’re hiring again as we scale our creative team. Full-Time Video Editor, Direct Response Ads for eCommerce Brand Budget: $800 USD/month fixed base + performance bonuses Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday Duration: Long-term About Us We’re a growing eCommerce brand selling a physical product through direct response advertising. Our creative operation is structured, data-driven, and scaling fast. We’re looking for dedicated video editors to join the team and help us produce winning ad creatives at volume. Product details and brand name will be shared with shortlisted candidates. The Role You’ll be our full-time video editor, turning scripted creative briefs into high-converting direct response ads. This includes UGC-style content, testimonials, POV ads, VSL-style creatives, and problem/solution formats. If your portfolio is mainly brand content, Instagram reels, YouTube edits, corporate videos, or motion graphics, this is probably not the right fit. What You’ll Produce - 2–4 complete ad concepts per day - Each concept includes 1 main body + 3 hook variants - 6–12 deliverables daily - 9:16 vertical format - Full HD 1080x1920 - 30–60 second ads Each ad launches with 3 hook variants. You need to understand why hooks are tested separately and how to execute variations efficiently. What We Provide - Scripted briefs with shot-by-shot breakdowns - B-roll shot lists - Product footage - UGC raw creator footage - Internal creative references - Access to ElevenLabs when needed - A structured creative pipeline so you’re never guessing what to edit or why What We’re Looking For Must-haves: - Proven experience editing direct response or performance marketing ads - Experience with eCommerce or physical product ads - Strong understanding of hooks, pacing, retention, CTAs, and conversion-focused editing - Ability to produce 2–4 complete ad concepts per day, each with 3 hook variants - Comfortable working with AI tools such as ElevenLabs, AI avatars, or AI video tools when needed - Organized with clip libraries, music/SFX libraries, and Google Drive workflows - Reliable, communicative, and available full-time Monday to Friday Nice-to-haves: - Experience with health/wellness or physical product ads - Familiarity with performance metrics such as hook rate, hold rate, CTR, CVR, CPA, and ROAS Software We don’t care which editing software you use. Output quality is what matters. Compensation Base: $800 USD/month fixed Performance Bonuses per ad, cumulative: - Ad hits $5K spend at 2.0+ ROAS: $50 - Ad hits $25K spend at 2.0+ ROAS: +$150 - Ad hits $100K spend at 2.0+ ROAS: +$800 A single strong winning ad can pay up to $1,000 in total bonuses over its lifetime, on top of your base pay. Transparency We share weekly performance data so you know which ads won, which didn’t, and why. You’ll see the results of your work in real numbers and improve fast.
