Director for French audiobooks

We, an audiobook publisher based in Cologne, Germany, are looking for a dedicated audiobook director (m/f/d) whose first language is French to produce high-quality French-language audiobooks. Communication is in English! Your responsibilities • Artistic and linguistic direction of French-language audiobook productions (Genre - Science Fiction) • Guiding and coaching voice artists during recordings • Ensuring authentic pronunciation and intonation • Quality control of voice recordings in terms of delivery, clarity and consistency • Working closely with project management • Ability to work remotely (Zoom, Teams, etc.) Your profile • Native-level French (essential) • Ideally, personal experience as a voice talent, narrator or dubbing artist • A keen sense of language and an understanding of storytelling, dramaturgy and character portrayal • Excellent communication skills and a passion for working with voice artists • An independent, structured and reliable approach to work Desirable • Experience in the recording and production of audiobooks, radio plays or voice recordings • Working with texts in the Sci-Fi Fantasy genre.
