Job Description We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and empathetic Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Dispatcher to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for clients requiring specialized transportation, ensuring their trips are booked accurately and scheduled efficiently. Key Responsibilities Customer Service: Answer inbound calls professionally, answering questions and addressing client concerns with empathy and clarity. Reservations & Booking: Accurately log and schedule medical transportation reservations, verifying client eligibility and mobility needs (e.g., wheelchair, ambulatory, stretcher). Quotes & Pricing: Provide clear price quotes to private-pay clients and insurance providers based on established company rates. Dispatch Support: Maintain clear communication with drivers, update trip statuses, and handle real-time scheduling adjustments as necessary. Administrative Tasks: Perform accurate data entry, manage schedules via Google Docs/Sheets, and handle other related assignments to support daily operations. Requirements & Qualifications Proven experience in Customer Support, Virtual Assistance, or Call Center environments (prior NEMT experience is a major plus). Outstanding verbal and written English communication skills. Strict adherence to professional phone etiquette and client confidentiality (HIPAA compliance awareness preferred). High level of comfort with technology, including Google Docs/Workspace and dispatching/scheduling software. Ability to multitask, problem-solve under pressure, and maintain a calm, reassuring demeanor.
