Docker migration with AWS setup

We are looking for an experienced AWS and Docker engineer to design and complete a multi-region infrastructure for Dockerized PHP applications. The environment will use an active-passive, multi-region architecture on AWS, with ECS for application hosting, Cloudflare at the edge, and Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management. A Terraform scaffold is already in place. You will be responsible for extending and completing it, implementing automated failover, and validating the full disaster-recovery process through documented testing. We will review the complete architecture and technical requirements during the interview. At this stage, we are looking for someone with strong, hands-on experience in the following areas: ・AWS services, including ECS on EC2 and Fargate, RDS, VPC, ALB, Route 53, Lambda, Secrets Manager, and CloudWatch ・Terraform, with experience building modular and reusable multi-region infrastructure ・Docker containerization and deployment of PHP applications ・Cloudflare, including DNS, Load Balancing, and WAF configuration ・Multi-region disaster-recovery architecture, including failover design, testing, monitoring, and RTO/RPO planning Key responsibilities: ・Review and complete the existing Terraform scaffold ・Deploy three Dockerized PHP applications on AWS ECS ・Configure a secure, highly available shared MySQL database architecture ・Implement an active-passive deployment across multiple AWS regions ・Configure Cloudflare DNS, Load Balancing, health checks, and WAF rules ・Implement automated regional failover and recovery procedures ・Set up monitoring, alerting, logging, and operational documentation ・Test and demonstrate the disaster-recovery process ・Document the final architecture, deployment process, failover procedure, and rollback steps In your proposal, please briefly include: ・An example of a multi-region AWS disaster-recovery environment you have built ・The RTO and RPO targets or recovery times you achieved ・Your experience using Terraform to manage multi-region AWS infrastructure ・Your experience containerizing and deploying PHP applications with Docker and ECS ・Your availability and estimated approach to completing the project
