About Us Simple Grants is a nationwide grant consulting firm that helps local governments, nonprofits, educational institutions, and other organizations secure and manage grant funding. We are seeking a detail-oriented Document Formatting & Production Specialist to support our team with professional document preparation and formatting. Position Overview This role focuses on transforming content into polished, client-ready deliverables. You will work primarily in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word to format reports, spreadsheets, grant-related documents, and other materials. You will also create professional PDF versions of final documents for client delivery. The ideal candidate enjoys working with structure, consistency, and visual presentation and takes pride in producing clean, professional documents. Key Responsibilities * Format and clean Excel spreadsheets for client-facing deliverables * Apply consistent styles, layouts, fonts, tables, and branding in Microsoft Word documents * Create polished PDF versions of reports and supporting materials * Ensure formatting consistency across multi-page documents * Adjust margins, page breaks, headers, footers, tables, charts, and graphics * Perform quality control reviews to identify formatting errors and inconsistencies * Convert content from spreadsheets into professional reports and presentation-ready formats * Follow established templates, style guides, and internal formatting standards * Work closely with our team to meet deadlines and production schedules Qualifications * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel * Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word * Experience creating and editing professional PDF documents * Exceptional attention to detail * Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions * Strong organizational and time management skills * Excellent written communication skills * Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely Preferred Qualifications * Experience supporting consulting firms, grant professionals, legal offices, or professional services organizations * Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat Pro * Experience working with complex tables, large documents, and data-heavy reports What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys document production and formatting work. Accuracy, consistency, and professionalism are more important than speed. The right person will notice small formatting issues, take initiative to improve document presentation, and help us create high-quality client deliverables. To Apply Please include: 1.
