Document AI / OCR Specialist for Rental Application Document Extraction

We are building a demo/MVP for Immo OS, an AI-powered tenant file analysis tool for real estate agencies. We need a Document AI / OCR specialist to help us extract structured information from rental application documents such as payslips, employment contracts, ID documents, tax documents, guarantor documents and other PDF files. The goal is to classify documents, extract key information, identify missing documents, and return clean structured data that can be used in a dashboard and PDF report. This is not an automatic tenant decision system. The tool only assists real estate agents by preparing a structured analysis for human review. Main deliverables: - Document classification system - OCR / PDF parsing workflow - Extraction of key fields such as name, income, employer, employment type, rent amount, document dates and guarantor status - Missing document detection - Basic consistency checks between documents - Structured JSON output - Integration-ready workflow for our main MVP developer - Accuracy testing on sample documents - Documentation and handover Preferred tools: - Google Document AI, Azure Form Recognizer, AWS Textract or similar - Python - OCR libraries - PDF parsing tools - OpenAI, Claude or Mistral API for structured extraction - JSON output formats Important requirements: - The extraction must be reliable enough for a client demo - Data output must be structured and easy to integrate - The system must avoid making final decisions about tenants - The workflow should support human review - GDPR-aware handling of personal documents is important Please include in your application: 1.
