Documentary Editor Needed

I am looking for a video editor to help complete a long-form Christian documentary based on a book I wrote. I have edited my own YouTube videos for some time, but editing is becoming difficult to manage within my current time constraints. The documentary primarily shows me speaking at a desk, accompanied by purposeful visual elements such as: Relevant images, footage, and overlays Supporting visuals appearing beside me Whiteboard-style teaching inserts listing key points Scripture, quotations, sources, and chapter titles Occasional cuts, keyframed movement, and subtle zooms for emphasis Appropriate music, audio cleanup, and basic color correction The goal is to improve viewer retention while keeping the presentation mature, thoughtful, and grounded. I do not want constant motion graphics, childish visuals, excessive captions, or distracting effects. The visuals should support what is being said. I will provide the completed script, recorded footage, guidelines, and an edited reference section demonstrating my preferred style. I need someone who can follow that style while also making sensible creative decisions independently. Because the documentary examines evidence for God, Christianity, Scripture, Jesus Christ, and the Gospel, genuine interest in the subject matter is important. You do not have to be a Christian, but you should be intellectually open, respectful, and willing to thoughtfully consider the claims being presented rather than approaching the material with hostility or dismissiveness. Agreement with every claim is not required, but the intended meaning must be represented accurately. A Christian editor may find this project especially meaningful and enjoyable, but thoughtful editors from any background are welcome. I would like to begin with a short paid test. If the test is successful, I may hire the same editor to complete the documentary using chapter-based milestones. There is also potential for regular editing work on future Christian YouTube videos if the working relationship is successful and the channel continues growing.
