Job Title: Documentary Video Editor for Historical Archival Project Project Description: I am looking for a skilled video editor to help produce a documentary-style video based on archival materials. We have a collection of family videos, vintage photographs, and newspaper articles documenting early theater history in San Antonio, Texas. I PREFER SOMEONE LOCATED IN THE SAN ANTONIO AREA TO WORK WITH IN PERSON. Scope of Work: Organize and digitize/clean up provided archival assets. Create a cohesive, engaging narrative arc based on the provided material. Apply professional editing techniques to animate static images (Ken Burns style) and integrate video clips. Source and layer appropriate royalty-free historical music and sound design. Deliver a high-quality final video suitable for public/digital viewing. What I’m Looking For: Proven experience in documentary-style or biographical video editing. Ability to work with limited source material to create a compelling story. Strong communication skills to help shape the vision for the film. Portfolio: Please include examples of documentary work or projects involving archival footage. I PREFER SOMEONE IN THE SAN ANTONIO AREA THAT I CAN MEET WITH PERSONALLY.
