We are seeking a specialist to handle domain takedowns, phishing response, and website security setup. The ideal candidate will have experience in cybersecurity and legal compliance, ensuring our online presence is secure and protected. Responsibilities include identifying and addressing security threats, collaborating with legal teams for domain takedowns, and implementing robust security measures to prevent future issues. # Domain Takedown, Phishing Response & Website Security Setup We are seeking an experienced domain, DNS, website security and abuse-response specialist to assist with an active brand impersonation and phishing-domain matter. A third-party domain is impersonating our legitimate business identity. We need support preparing and submitting takedown reports, reviewing the domain’s technical setup, identifying the relevant registrar / DNS / hosting / email providers, and helping us protect our official web presence. Scope of work: * Review the impersonating domain and collect technical evidence. * Identify registrar, DNS, hosting, CDN, email and related infrastructure. * Prepare abuse reports for registrar, hosting provider, email provider, CDN and browser-security vendors. * Assist with phishing / scam reports to Google Safe Browsing, Microsoft SmartScreen and other relevant platforms. * Prepare a clean evidence pack with screenshots, DNS records, headers, URLs and supporting proof. * Help configure or review our official website notice page listing verified domains and known impersonation domains. * Review our official domain security posture, including DNS, SPF, DKIM, DMARC and basic anti-impersonation controls. * Recommend immediate defensive actions to reduce fraud, email spoofing, payment-diversion and phishing risk. Ideal experience: * Domain abuse and phishing takedown handling. * DNS, WHOIS, MX, TXT, SPF, DKIM and DMARC analysis. * Registrar, hosting, CDN and email-provider escalation. * Google Safe Browsing / Microsoft SmartScreen / Netcraft / Spamhaus style reporting. * Website security, brand protection or cyber incident response. * Clear documentation and evidence packaging. Deliverables: 1. Technical review of the impersonating domain. 2. Provider identification and escalation list. 3. Abuse-report drafts and submission-ready evidence pack. 4. Recommendations to secure our official domains and website. 5. Support implementing or reviewing our official domain notice / scam-warning page. This is urgent.
