3D Artist Needed to Create Printable STL File for Decorative Figurine & Silicone Mold Production Project Overview I am looking for an experienced 3D artist/sculptor to create an original decorative figurine design for outdoor use. The final model must be suitable for: Direct 3D printing Silicone mold production Mass casting in materials such as resin, concrete, or polyresin This is a manufacturing-focused project, so the model must be designed with production requirements in mind. The final deliverable must be a manufacturing-ready 3D model that can be sent directly to a 3D printer for prototyping and mold development. Scope of Work Create an original 3D figurine based on reference images and style direction provided after hiring Design the model for outdoor decorative use Optimize the geometry to minimize undercuts and simplify mold release Recommend mold split lines and parting sections Ensure the model is fully optimized and ready for direct 3D printing, with proper wall thickness, clean geometry, and no non-manifold errors Deliverables Production-ready STL file suitable for direct 3D printing Source file (ZBrush, Blender, or equivalent) OBJ or 3MF export Suggested silicone mold split plan (2–3 pieces) Rendered images from multiple angles Target Dimensions Approximate height: 10–70 cm Intended use: Outdoor decorative product Preferred Skills Experience with character or decorative sculpting Experience designing products for silicone molds and casting Understanding of manufacturing constraints, including draft angles and undercuts Experience with resin, concrete, or polyresin products To Apply Please include: Examples of similar figurines, decorative sculptures, or product designs you have created Examples of models prepared for casting or mold making Your estimated timeline Your fixed-price quote Reference images and design direction will be shared with shortlisted freelancers.
