Driver Training Manual & Video Tutorial Development

Seeking an experienced instructional designer, SOP developer, process documentation specialist, or training content developer to create a complete driver training program for a Transportation Management System (TMS) mobile application. The workflow already exists and is relatively straightforward. The objective is not to design a new process, but rather to review the existing workflow, document it, and transform it into professional training materials that are easy for drivers to understand and follow. The selected freelancer will work directly with me to review the current workflow, observe how drivers interact with the application throughout a trip, identify areas where users may become confused, and develop clear and structured training content. The workflow includes activities such as: • Receiving load assignments • Reviewing trip information and instructions • Updating statuses throughout the trip • Viewing and uploading documents • Completing pickup and delivery activities • Submitting required documentation • Closing loads and completing assigned tasks Desired Deliverables: • Process maps and workflow diagrams • Step-by-step written procedures with screenshots • Driver quick-reference guides and checklists • Screen-recorded video tutorials demonstrating exactly what drivers see and what actions they should take on a Samsung tablet • Editable source files for future updates • Recommendations for improving clarity, usability, and driver adoption The goal is to create a professional onboarding and training package that standardizes how drivers use the application, reduces confusion, minimizes support requests, and provides a repeatable training process for both current and future drivers. Please provide examples of SOPs, onboarding programs, software user guides, process documentation, training manuals, knowledge bases, or video tutorials you have personally developed. If available, please include links or samples of your work. Experience creating software training materials and instructional content is highly preferred. Transportation industry experience is a plus but not required.
