Drupal Developer

We’re hiring one developer who is comfortable working in a Drupal environment and can handle the day-to-day maintenance tasks reliably and independently. Key Responsibilities: Apply security updates, core updates, module updates, and patching Monitor and respond to site alerts, downtime, and error logs Maintain modules, resolve module or dependency conflicts Perform performance tuning (caching, queries, database optimization) Manage backups, staging, and deployments Troubleshoot bugs (front end, back end, database) Implement small enhancements or content structuring changes as needed Work closely with content editors / stakeholders: deploy their content changes or fixes Document maintenance tasks, procedures, and change logs Requirements & Skills: Strong experience with Drupal 8/9/10+ Experience with Drupal module development, theming, hooking, and custom code Solid PHP, MySQL / PostgreSQL, and database skills Understanding of caching (Redis, Memcache, Varnish or Drupal caching patterns) Experience with version control (Git), deployment pipelines, CI/CD best practices Basic front-end skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript — to debug UI or theme issues Ability to debug using logs, Xdebug, error reporting Good communication, documentation, and willingness to coordinate with non-technical stakeholders Ability to manage several maintenance tasks in parallel, prioritize urgent fixes Nice-to-have: Experience with Docker, containerization Experience with infrastructure or DevOps (server provisioning, monitoring, load balancing) Experience with accessibility (WCAG), multilingual sites, Drupal translation modules Experience with REST/GraphQL in Drupal environment
