EHR Data Entry Contractor – Medical Notes / HIPAA / Wound Care Preferred

We are looking for detail-oriented contractors to help with a short-term medical EHR data-entry project. The role involves entering patient visit notes and related documentation into our healthcare software platform. The ideal candidate has previous experience with medical EHR data entry and is comfortable working carefully with patient information, clinical documentation, and structured workflows. This is a time-sensitive project, and we are looking for candidates who can start as soon as possible. Responsibilities: 1. Enter patient visit notes and related documentation into the designated EHR/software platform 2. Follow a step-by-step tracking process using Google Sheets and Google Drive 3. Accurately match patients, visit dates, and documentation before entering notes 4. Enter notes in the correct chronological order when a patient has multiple notes 5. Flag missing information, platform issues, unclear documentation, or potential duplicates 6. Follow all confidentiality, PHI, HIPAA, and security requirements Required Experience: - Previous medical EHR data entry experience - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to follow structured processes and update tracking sheets consistently - Comfortable working with patient records and sensitive healthcare information - Reliable communication and ability to ask questions when documentation is unclear - Ability to work independently and meet agreed deadlines Strong Plus: - Wound care documentation experience - Medical billing experience - Experience reviewing whether information flows correctly through an EHR or billing-related workflow - Familiarity with patient charts, visit notes, clinical documentation, or provider documentation - Prior experience working in HIPAA-compliant environments Compliance Requirements: Because this project involves patient information, selected contractors will be required to sign confidentiality and compliance documents before receiving access. Contractors must follow strict PHI handling rules, including using only approved systems, not storing patient information locally, and deleting downloaded files immediately after use. Project Details: Estimated project size: approximately 600–1,000 notes total across the team Initial pilot: 5 notes, subject to quality review Payment: $3 per completed note that passes QA Work type: short-term contract Start date: ASAP To apply, please include: 1.
