Ecommerce Bookkeeper & Accountant Needed | Shopify/Amazon/PayPal Reconciliation | ACCA Preferred

I run a growing eCommerce business and need a highly experienced, detail-oriented Bookkeeper and Accountant to manage all aspects of our financial records on an ongoing basis. Our business operates across multiple platforms (Shopify / Amazon / eBay / WooCommerce), and we need someone who truly understands how eCommerce accounting works — not just general bookkeeping. 📌 Key Responsibilities: Record and categorize all daily eCommerce transactions accurately Reconcile sales from Shopify / Amazon / eBay / Etsy with bank and payment gateway statements Reconcile PayPal, Stripe, and Payoneer accounts on a weekly/monthly basis Track and manage Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and inventory valuation Manage Accounts Payable & Receivable Prepare monthly Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements Handle Sales Tax / VAT calculations and filing (UK / US / EU as applicable) Identify discrepancies and resolve them proactively Maintain clean, organized books in QuickBooks Online or Xero Provide monthly financial summaries and business insights 🎯 Must-Have Requirements: ACCA Qualified or Finalist — strongly preferred Proven experience in eCommerce bookkeeping (Shopify, Amazon, or similar platforms) Hands-on expertise in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or A2X Strong understanding of multi-currency transactions Familiar with inventory accounting and COGS tracking Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Reliable, self-managed, and available for weekly check-ins Strong written English communication 📂 Bonus Skills (Nice to Have): Experience with A2X, Link My Books, or Synder for automated eCommerce reconciliation Knowledge of Amazon FBA fee structures Prior work with UK / US / EU VAT compliance Experience preparing books for year-end and tax filing 📆 Project Details: Type: Long-Term / Ongoing Contract Hours: 15–25 hours/week (flexible) Start Date: Immediate Budget: Negotiable based on experience and scope 📝 To Apply — Please Include: Your accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, etc.) Which eCommerce platforms have you worked with before Which accounting software do you use (QuickBooks / Xero / other) A brief example of an eCommerce bookkeeping project you handled Your availability and preferred rate
