Ecommerce Bookkeeping & AR/AP Analyst

We're building the best bookkeeping and CFO firm for small businesses in the US. We need the person who wants to be part of that and help us grow. AgenCFO is a fast-growing fractional CFO and financial operations firm serving marketing agencies and ecommerce businesses across the US. This isn't a data-entry role. You'll own a portfolio of agency clients end to end, work directly alongside our CFOs, and be the person founders actually rely on to keep their business running. The numbers you produce drive real decisions for real business owners. What you'll own - Full-cycle bookkeeping across 8-12 agency and ecommerce clients (Shopify, Amazon, Stripe, QBO, Xero) - AR/AP management including Bill.com, collections, and vendor payments - Month-end close, reconciliations, and clean financials every time - Personal relationships with clients - you’ll be giving the CEO's weekly financial updates with key insights into their performance. Who we're looking for - 3+ years bookkeeping experience, ideally with ecommerce and/or agency clients - Fluent in QBO and Xero is non-negotiable - Strong understanding of accrual accounting, sales tax, and payment processor reconciliation - Someone who solves problems before flagging them, not after - Overlap partially with European and US hours. - Verifiable work history and references from previous employers Who this is not for We're a high-trust team. That means you'll have real autonomy and real accountability. If you do your best work when someone's looking over your shoulder, this probably isn't the right fit. The opportunity We start with a paid part-time trial (2-4 weeks) to make sure it's the right fit on both sides. Full-time compensation is $2,400/month.
