Ecommerce Fraud Specialist

We are a fast-growing ecommerce marketplace specialized in digital products (gift cards, subscriptions, digital codes, etc.) and are looking for an experienced Ecommerce Fraud Specialist / Chargeback Expert to help us prevent fraud, reduce losses, and strengthen our risk operations. This is a highly operational role focused on daily fraud prevention, payment risk management, KYC review, and transaction monitoring. Responsibilities Fraud Prevention & Risk Management Monitor transactions and identify suspicious activity before and after purchases Review and block high-risk orders to minimize fraud and chargebacks Improve and manage fraud prevention workflows and risk rules Continuously optimize fraud detection systems and approval logic KYC & Identity Verification Review customer-submitted documents for KYC verification Detect potentially fake, edited, manipulated, or forged documents Identify suspicious patterns and unusual customer behavior Improve internal verification and onboarding processes Chargebacks & Payment Risk Investigate fraud cases and chargeback disputes Reduce chargeback ratios through proactive prevention Work closely with the operations/support team to identify fraud trends Create and maintain fraud prevention SOPs Security Tools & Platforms Nice to Have Experience in marketplaces or digital goods ecommerce Experience with high-volume transactions Spanish speaking (preferred but not mandatory) Based in Europe preferred (time zone compatibility)
