# YouTube Video Editor Wanted (Japanese Culture Channel) ## Job Description I want to create YouTube videos that introduce Japanese culture to people around the world. I am looking for a video editor who can add English subtitles and Japanese text overlays to videos. A script can be provided. ## Required Skills * Ability to create accurate English subtitles from voice recordings (AI tools are welcome). * Japanese language skills are not required if you can effectively use AI translation tools. * Experience with Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software. ## Video Content The channel focuses on Japanese culture. Topics may include: * Japanese traditions and customs * Things that surprise foreign visitors to Japan * Places worth visiting in Japan * Travel tips and money-saving information * Cultural knowledge that visitors should know before coming to Japan ## Responsibilities * Edit videos to approximately 5 minutes in length. * Use royalty-free images, videos, and other visual materials. * Create engaging videos featuring beautiful scenery and visuals while narration explains the topic. * Add subtitles, text overlays, transitions, and background music where appropriate. * Help increase viewer retention and engagement. * Be flexible with revisions and feedback. * Job responsibilities may be adjusted depending on experience and skills. ## Long-Term Opportunity We welcome long-term collaboration. * Performance-based pay increases available. * Minimum delivery: 1 video per week. * Up to 3 videos per week for qualified editors. * Multiple projects are available every month. * There is plenty of ongoing work for capable editors. ## Deadline Within 7 days of receiving the materials. ## Preferred Qualifications * Previous YouTube video editing experience. * Strong portfolio of past work. * Ability to think creatively and contribute ideas rather than simply following instructions. * Passion for creating high-quality and engaging content.
