Electrical Engineer – CAD & Electrical Diagram Annotation for AI/Computer Vision Project

Electrical Engineer Required for Single-Line Diagram (SLD) Annotation – AI Project We are looking for an Electrical Engineer with strong electrical design/CAD experience to annotate single-line electrical diagrams for a computer vision/AI project in the energy and grid sector. Key Responsibilities Annotate electrical symbols using tight bounding boxes Identify/classify approximately 31 types of electrical symbols Interpret SLDs across different customer/industry drawing standards Handle ambiguous symbols using electrical engineering judgment Perform cross-validation/QA of annotations completed by other engineers Work with diagrams provided as PDFs, CAD files, and images Must-Have Requirements Degree/background in Electrical Engineering Hands-on experience reading and interpreting single-line diagrams Strong knowledge of electrical equipment and power systems Practical AutoCAD/CAD experience, preferably electrical design Familiarity with IEEE/IEC or customer-specific electrical drawing standards Strong attention to detail Ability to work on a 2-month project, starting around September 2026 This is NOT a general image annotation project. Electrical engineering expertise is mandatory.
