Electrical Engineering for CT Cabinet Design

Seeking contract electrical engineer to assist us in offering bus gutter and CT cabinets per customer specifications. Our company currently fabricates enclosures we carry a UL508 rating but would like to begin providing solutions that include bus bar. You will be responsible for the full scope of internal components drawings to help us install all items as well as creation of the BOM. Atypical job will look as follows.: 1200A 3P 480V with Neutral and Ground Tap Box and meet the below: Phase Conductors (3) set of 750kcmil per phase Neutral Conductors (3) sets of 750kcmil Ground Conductor (3) sets of 4/O Each will have in and out and tap. of adequate size to house CT’s for each phase including neutral UL 50: Enclosures for Electrical Equipment, Non-Environmental Considerations UL 50E: Enclosures for Electrical Equipment, Environment. NEMA 4X 304SS 65 KAIC minimum for all 480/277V systems. be an enclosure with door and stainless-steel concealed hinges. Enclosure to be lockable. have Copper or Silver Tinned bus and not Aluminum. have 750kcmil Mechanical lug connectors, with torqued tables posted in the cabinet. have a ground bar that will accommodate the maximum size and quantity of conductors for specified amperage. be labelled with Arc Flash Hazard and Available Fault Current label information.
